Paris
Commonly known as the city of love has been designed to be a beautiful city and that it is. The streets are cobbled and stone faced buildings tower above the small people below. Cravings of ancient kings and mythical creatures adorn the buildings. The Effiel Tower stands pride of place and we were fortunate enough to make our way to the top floor to see stunning panoramic views of the city. Electric cars and motorbikes or scooters feature regularly on Paris roads, many taking their life into their own hands as many intersections are a free for all with no lines indicating where you are to go. Walking across streets is even dangerous as cars often don't stop for pedestrians unless you stare them down. We got snowed on at Notre Dame and haggled with street vendors known as "enterpueners" here in Paris for a €4.00 selfie stick (about $6.00 in NZ) Hopefully we will try escargot (snails) before we leave France. Barcelona next..💃🏽

Flying.. Not my favourite thing in the world
Hi guys,
Have just woken up from a 10 hour sleep. It is currently 5.46am here in London and pretty cold. Yesterday we arrived in London after 24 hours flying over cities and countries I had never even heard of. It was raining and cold which I am told is normal for London weather. This place is huge! I can't even explain in words how big it is you will just have to come and see for yourself some day. Just a short message for now as I plan on taking some photos today of what we see. Bye for now!

Welcome Room 11!
Hi guys,
On Thursday 21st April Miss V and her partner Luke are going to be embarking on a journey they have been planning for over a year now.
We are heading to Europe - a continent we have looked at in class - and we are going to share with you as much as we can from our trip.
I hope this will encourage you all to follow your dreams and travel the world. This has been something I have wanted to do for a very long time.
Because we are traveling a long way away it means I have to take some time off school so you will have Mrs Wood until I return in Week 6. I plan on keeping up to date with what is happening at school via the school Facebook page and Schoology and you can keep up to date with what I am doing on here.
Have a good term break and I will see you Monday 6th June.
Miss V
